A quilted vest insulates differently from a fleece vest: the warmth sits in a synthetic fill quilted between a light woven shell and lining, so the garment stays warm when compressed under straps, harnesses or outer layers. Our padded vest line is built for work programs — the reference style is a multi-pocket padded vest that carries tools, scanners and radios without a bag — and quilted in panel patterns that keep the fill evenly distributed through washing and wear.

Shells use light synthetic face fabrics (the quilted jacket line runs on a 20-denier matte polyamide face at just 35 GSM before quilting), and the fill is our Litech Cotton synthetic insulation concept — a cotton-like synthetic fill chosen for work garments because it keeps insulating when damp and dries fast after washing.
