The Layer Stack
A softshell is a fabric system. We build all three layers.
Most jacket inquiries fail on an underspecified fabric: "softshell" can mean a light two-layer bonded fleece or a three-layer build with a breathable membrane, and the price gap between them is structural, not negotiable fluff. Our softshell shells run 96% polyester / 4% spandex woven faces bonded to 100% micro fleece linings; three-layer builds add a breathable membrane in the middle, with moisture-vapour transmission graded in three tiers from 500 up to 10,000 g/m²/24h.
Because the same factory group spins, weaves and finishes fabric as well as sewing garments, the fabric is not a bought-in unknown. You specify the layer build and the finished weight — 280, 300, 330, 350 or 400 GSM — and the sample comes back against that spec, ready for your own lab checks.

For distributors: blanks are a commodity. Programs are not.
Blank-apparel distributors compete on stock and next-day shipping. A manufactured program instead starts with the garment specification: color, weight, label and pattern block. Bulk fleece jacket orders are quoted as production programs, with the production route, minimum and lead time confirmed per style at quotation rather than presented as warehouse stock.
